Dancing With Our Diamonds is The Arc of Greensboro's most crucial and highly anticipated annual fundraiser. The goal of the fundraiser is to secure funding to continue to pursue The Arc's mission of providing services and advocacy to those within our community living with IDD.

Starting in 2015, Dancing With Our Diamonds began as a dance competition formerly called "Dancing On The Diamond" that took place on First National Bank Field prior to a coinciding Greensboro Grasshoppers game. In 2019, the fundraiser moved indoors and became "Dancing With Our Diamonds."

The fundraiser acts as a dance competition, with each dance pair consisting of one person within the community living with IDD, and one "local celebrity". Voting for competing dancers opens a few weeks before the set DWOD event and ends after each pair has performed their dance together during the event. The couple with the most votes wins the whole competition.
